Yamaha YSL681G Trombone #001336 USED

Newly arrived in store this is a lovely large bore (.547") straight tenor trombone. With a gold brass bell, this model plays with a big, warm sound, and is easy to wield and play due to the absence of an F-attachment. It would suit an orchestrally-oriented player seeking a flexible instrument with a huge sound, or a jazz improvisor desiring a fluffy warmth in his or her sound. The great Slide Hampton was known for playing a larger bore trombone (a straight bass!).

Large bore straight trombones aren't super common, and this one is structurally in excellent condition. It shows some normal cosmetic lacquer wear from use, but carries Yamaha's amazing reputation for build quality.
