The entirely sterling silver headjoint, body and keys of Yamaha 777H professional flutes deliver the warmth and expressive colors that only the finest silver flutes can provide. The headjoint, body and footjoint are all heat treated with Yamahas proprietary acoustic annealing process to provide an impressive evenness of tone and response throughout all registers.The hand-finished sterling silver headjoint is a modified version of the Type A headjoint supplied with Yamaha handmade flutes.

The specially designed cut of this headjoint offers incredible response and an impressive dynamic range.Yamaha 700 series flutes boast a 0.43mm wall thickness which, when combined with the hand-finished sterling silver headjoint, provides a remarkably warm and rich tone.Yamaha 700 series flutes come standard with Straubinger Phoenix Pads for a more precise and consistent seal. Straubinger Phoenix Pads allow the flutist to play with a lighter touch and quicker action. The keys feature traditional pointed key arms, reflecting the highest level of craftsmanship and adding visual elegance to these outstanding instruments.

Straubinger Phoenix™ Pads offer the same concept as Straubinger™ Pads on our Handmade Flute, and have more suitable design for 700/600 models. The pads offer softer touch, but also superior response, wide dynamic range and tolerance of environmental changes same as Straubinger™ Pads.

Pinless Left-hand Key System(YFL-597(H),697(H),797(H) only)

Utilizes the “pinless left-hand key system,” the ideal configuration for handmade flutes. This improves high F-F# key operation, and because there are no pins, maintenance is easier.

Pointed Key Arms

A#, F# and other non-fingered keys feature pointed key arms. Found on handmade flutes, their beautiful designs are inspired by traditional European styling.

Our 13-Point Professional Set-up includes.

1. All transit packing and corks from the manufacturer are removed.
   
2. Thorough visual check for any plating or lacquer defects.
   
3. All pads checked for quality.
   
4. Test all pad seatings & key adjustments using a leak-light and feeler gauge.
   
5. All key corks and felts checked, adjusted to set vent heights.
   
6. Regulate and adjust keywork as required.
   
7. All spring tensions checked and adjusted to create a balanced feel across the instrument.
   
8. Test final pad seal with a Magnehelic air pressure test.
   
9. Check foot and head joint tenons for correct fit.
   
10. Check foot tenon for burrs.
    
11. Play test from top to bottom.
    
12. Case inspected for quality, instrument fit and accessories.
    
13. Instrument cleaned and carefully repacked.
