Inheriting the many merits of top-of-the-line Yamaha handmade flutes, these models offer rich, nuanced tonality over a wide dynamic range. The 600 series combine the brilliance of nickel silver with the characteristic mellow timbres of sterling silver. All models come with hand-finished headjoints based on the Type A headjoints supplied with the 800 and 900 series handmade flutes. The keys feature traditional pointed key arms, reflecting the highest level of craftsmanship and adding visual elegance to these outstanding instruments.
These flutes have been meticulously hand-adjusted and test-played by experienced artisans, and are more than just inexpensive versions of Yamaha's professional flutes. It is very important for young students to be able to produce beautiful, flute-like tones as quickly and easily as possible. They are the flutes that will help beginners rapidly improve, while offering more advanced players excellent response and tonal qualities.
Each new instrument we sell comes included with a complimentary professional pre-sale setup, courtesy of our professional workshop. This is to ensure your new instrument is playing at peak performance from the moment you open the box. Learn more about this process in the 'Included" section above.
