The Mark2 version of this clarinet made changes to the design of the E-flat key lever and changed the pads to being all leather, exception to the register key pad which remains a cork pad.These are the two major changes between Mk1 and Mk2.

2. Thorough visual check for any wood or plating defects.
   
3. All pads checked for quality.
   
4. Test all pad seatings & key adjustments using a feeler gauge.
   
5. All key corks and felts checked, adjusted to set vent heights.
   
6. Regulate and adjust keywork as required.
   
7. All spring tensions checked and adjusted to create a balanced feel across the instrument.
   
8. Test final pad seal with a Magnehelic air pressure test.
   
9. Check joint tenons for correct fit and adjust.
   
10. Tenon corks checked for cork quality and greased.
    
11. Play test from top to bottom.
    
12. Case inspected for quality, instrument fit and accessories.
    
13. Instrument cleaned and carefully repacked.
