Yamaha combined the knowledge they learned in creating the Xeno tenor trombones with feedback from some of the world's great bass trombonists. The results speak for themselves; a state-of-the-art bass trombone with all specifications redesigned by an elite team of Yamaha designers and R&D experts. The 830 model includes features such as the newly designed yellow brass bell with a thinner wall for enhanced response, nickel silver slide crook for more substance to the sound, and a new rotor design which improves playability.
New bell design uses a thinner yellow-brass material to provide quicker response.
Modified slide braces pick up design elements from the successful Xeno tenor trombone series, creating more flexibility and responsiveness.
Nickel-silver slide crook material creates a more open feel.
New rotor spin direction provides a smoother airflow to the second rotor assembly.
Adjustable thumb paddle provides an ergonomic grip.
A new ABS Xeno-type case features a compact and contoured shape, with shoulder strap and side handle.
Warranty of 3 years, with excellent servicing plans, and an offer of a change of mouthpiece if necessary.
