With the Selmer Series III tenor saxophone the Selmer legend continues, incorporating numerous qualities from previous models. It asserts itself with a sound and dynamic range that makes it the instrument of the greats. As for acoustics, the Selmer Series III tenor is a particularly versatile instrument, allowing the musician to explore a multiplicity of sound colours according to his or her own concept and the material he or she uses.
It gives real enjoyment with a generous lower register and easy subtones. Excellent response, striking pitch and balanced ergonomics creates a close relationship between the musician and the instrument, an essential condition for expressiveness and musicality.
The Jubilee model takes presentation to a new level. To celebrate 125 years Selmer has laid the foundations for a new visual identity of the saxophone while keeping intact its sound and ergonomics. Keeping with the French jeweler's tradition, a new finer engraving decorates the bell and bow. Inspired by a 1922 Selmer Paris model the design uses a special outline technique. A new "champagne" lacquer and pearl colour adds distinction, as does the signature of Henri Selmer on the bell-to-bow ring.
The redesigned octave mechanism is lighter and with subtly thinner outlines, and the "S" logo has been modernised.

- Once an application is approved, we will contact you to advise the expected dispatch date of your product. Most items are dispatched within five working days.
