Thorough visual check for any plating or lacquer defects.
All pads checked for quality.
Test all pad seatings & key adjustments using a leak-light and feeler gauge.
All key corks and felts checked, adjusted to set vent heights.
Regulate and adjust keywork as required.
All spring tensions checked and adjusted to create a balanced feel across the instrument.
Test final pad seal with a Magnehelic air pressure test.
Check foot and head joint tenons for correct fit.
Check foot tenon for burrs.
Play test from top to bottom.
Case inspected for quality, instrument fit and accessories.
Instrument cleaned and carefully repacked.
