The B&S MBX line of trumpets were designed in conjunction with studio recording artist, Christian Martinez. As with all B&S trumpets, the precision, finish, and quality is unmatched. The X-Line trumpets represent the pinnacle of B&S' range of instruments, and the MBX are versatile, diverse, and easy to play.
The MBX3 'Heritage' model is a modern take on the classic studio sound. The sound is warm, but a little brighter than the MBX2. The lightweight, gold brass, #43 tapered bell is lively and responsive, especially in the upper register. For this model, B&S completely redesinged the bore from the leadpipe to the valve block, increasing the security upon the MBX1, whilst still free-blowing like the MBX2.
The MBX3 also features three sets of fast-thread valve caps; vintage styled light weight, modern styled medium and heavy weight caps.
This instrument is available in gold lacquer, silver plate, brushed gold lacquer, or the special 'Vintage' finish (pictured).
