This is an excellent condition (best we have seen) Besson 10-10 trumpet. Made in England in approx. early 1960’s, this trumpet was the top model of its day and still holds its own with modern trumpets today. It has had only the one owner, original lacquer in 85% condition, beautiful engraving, and only cosmetic wear. Valve plating and compression is fantastic for its age.
This trumpet plays with lots of colour and is well suited for a range of repertoire. Dual triggers on both 1st/3rd valve slides, ergonomic water-key levers that permit emptying condensation conveniently and a reverse 2nd slide angle.
Includes original case, mouthpiece and lyre.
