I picked it up and commenced playing the Hummel Concerto from the First movement. For the first time I could play and my tongue was keeping a steady pace, the response was so good I didn't need to concentrate on anything else but the notes and dynamics. I went one to try some jazz and the tone was so different to what I expected I immediately deemed this a classical trumpet. I do say this with the deepest respect though the classical qualities on this trumpet are amazingly rich. If I were ever to buy a classical horn for speciality without forking out $10,000 for a Monette I would BUY THIS HORN!!!
At the time though, I needed a versatile horn with quality I could use in a big band. Sorry, guys but this is for the Nakariakov fans more than the Miles Davis fans.
