After spending a long time dealing with the mouthpiece run around and trying everything (and I mean everything), I have come to a mouthpiece which is excellent to work with and affordable! Tonally it is on the medium to warm side, broad but controllable. The mouthpiece is a little resistant, but it does not feel the air is being wasted or stuffy. It helps me cover all kinds of playing from 20's swing to pop and fusion. Personally I bought the 8.5 tip opening.
