This mouthpiece is fantastic! I recently bought a new Buffet Crampon E12F clarinet. It had the rich resonance of wood but the mouthpiece was not focussed enough. I did a lot of research online on forums and websites and this seemed to be the best quality at an excellent price. Each of these mouthpieces is machined in a factory, then checked and hand-finished for the best playing performance by Clark Fobes (I can see where he has sanded the facing super smooth on mine). I took it out of the box, placed a reed on it and it played so beautifully - a smooth, rich sound, with each note easy to reach and project both loudly and softly. Definitely worth investing in!
