Great instrument! As a woodwind teacher but not a recorder specialist this is sweet. I have a good wooden recorder by a good brand and a cheap plastic recorder as a comparison. The sound has the smoothness and warmth of a wooden recorder. I was surprised by the very good dymnamic range. It takes more air than my other recorders, which gives me better control. It doesn’t get harsh and shrill up top. You don’t have to oil the head joint, so it’s easy care and seems very consistent. The articulation is gentle but agile. Great little recorder
