The B&S MBX line of instruments was designed in conjunction with studio recording artist Christian Martinez. As with all X-Line instruments, the MBX series are versatile, all-rounders.
The MBX2 is the classic 'dark' horn; the #72 lightweight bell has a strong core and projects well throughout all registers. The gold-brass reversed leadpipe adds to the dark sound without sacrificing the free-blowing feel, or intonation, and a rounded, heavy-braced tuning slide increases the security of the slots, while still feeling open and smooth.
This instrument is available in either gold lacquer (pictured) or silver-plate (available by special request).
